HOW YOU WERE INVOLVED:

Conference Delegate, speaker & workshop facilitator

DATES:

2011 to now

WHAT YOU ARE DOING NOW:

I have successfully sold two startups – one that worked on renewable energy, the other on talent assessments. I am now on to the next adventure: P4G Labs, which is working on applying cutting edge technologies like AI, Data Analytics, 3D Printing and robotics to solve pressing issues in waste management and accelerate the building of a circular economy while also creating meaningful green jobs.

MESSAGE / REFLECTION:

I wish everyone who was, is, and will be part of the Peace Child family a very happy 40th birthday!  Peace Child inspired me to dream, strategise and act on various ideas I had to make the world a better place.  Since 2011, it has provided me various opportunities to learn about the challenges facing the world, provided me multiple opportunities to participate in its projects, workshops and various events across the globe.  It is through my engagement with the organisation, I stopped seeing everything from an eco-activist’s lens and embraced the need for balance. That people, planet and profits are equally important.  If it wasn’t for the spirit of Peace Child to dream of solutions which may look impossible, I would never have persevered to reach the dream no matter what. Acceptance of failure is a vital learning. I wouldn’t be where I am today without Peace Child. I am fortunate to have met David at SAYC 2011 and to have joined my loving and supporting family at Peace Child since then.
