Peace Child Network: Guest Bloggers

Throughout the year the team at Peace Child post articles written by our Network. We would like to hear what is important to you, what you feel needs support regarding employability and entrepreneurship.

Here is what we look for at Peace Child:

As a youth empowerment, education and international development NGO, PCI publishes blogs by young people about youth issues relating to unemployment, international development, the environment, climate change and education (view the blog here to see what we’ve covered in the past and join our network for updates and ideas). We will happily cover pieces on any of the Global Goals (sustainable development goals).

Blogs should be journalistic, interviews, or more personal stories as long as they are explicitly applied to a bigger social issue. If you submit a blog we deem too general or there are some edits that we’d suggest, we will let you know, and you’ll have a chance to change it or agree to the edits before publication.

Ideally submissions should be around 500 words, and guest bloggers should be fluent in English and able to write informative pieces for a global audience. You can submit a single blog article or several. All blogs must be emailed to the below email address. Pending approval and editing, blogs are published on our website along with a short bio about the author and any photographs you send to accompany the post. We allow links to relevant sites but not promotional content.

Blogs are then promoted through social media on Twitter and Facebook. If you have a Twitter handle, let us know. We want our guest bloggers to get the recognition they deserve for taking the initiative to blog for us!

Please note that we only publish original work. We don’t want our blogs to repeat other blogs even if the writer is the same person. We want our guest bloggers to write something new and fresh for our site. We also have a no tolerance policy on plagiarism. This an opportunity to show your skills.

If this sounds like something you would be interested in, or if you have any more questions, please let me know.

To get started, write a blog and send it to editor@peacechild.org, and the team will get back to you.

Thank you again for your support and interest as a network, and we look forward to hearing from you all. Peace Child International
